"Volume failed to mount" error message
Solution If after selecting the 'Connect' button the error message 'Volume failed to mount' pops up, then you will need to edit Folder Sharing on the PC.

To edit the File Sharing, please follow these steps:

1) On your PC, right click the 'PC Migration' folder and select 'Sharing'.

2) Select 'Understanding the importance of Sharing'.

3) Select 'Enable...' and click Okay

4) A hand should now display underneath the 'PC Migration' folder.

5) If the PC does not have a password on the PC, then a password must be created.

a) Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change Account
b) Select the User account and select Change Password
c) Enter a password in both fields and click Change Password

6) Restart the PC

The 'Connect' button and login data will now work on the Mac side of Move2Mac and you will be able to transfer your files.
